Worth every penny
Takes a little while to break in so you can pull everything out easily, but it still holds well and doesn’t get loose. Looks as good as it performs. I carry an Olight Warrior 3S, Leatherman Surge, and a pocket size flathead most mechanics use. I did sand out the belt loops from 1.5 to 1.75 since thats the only size belts I own. This is my EDC for work and 2nd purchase from ToK, would recommend and buy again.
I absolutely love this. I am buying more.
The best holster I ever bought
I have used th now for three weeks, this is the best holster I have ever seen. I condition the leather before wearing, It’s going to last a long time. I work for T. I pull a lot of wire. I have went through 6 Chinese holsters. All junk! This holster is the very best I will be buying more!! Thank you guys for your high quality!!!
PERFECTION
OVERALL: 10/10 I had no idea this existed until I came across this looking for a pouch for my flashlight after my old Leatherman pouch failed to secure my light and I lost it while working. This is absolutely PERFECT. I carry a flashlight and Leatherman Surge with me every day. However, I don't like loading up my belt with too much "tactical" gear pouches and holsters that I look like an off-duty officer or something in public. I've always wanted a more subtle way of carrying my gear without putting it in my pockets and this fits the bill absolutely perfectly. It is very well-made, stylish, has excellent retention of gear in all pouches, is comfortable to wear, and to my surprise, holds the Leatherman Surge better than Leatherman's included pouch. I now have no worries of losing my gear. I have ended up liking this so much, I genuinely look forward to buying 2 more - one that I can wear casually that won't get dirty and scratched up from my work and one as a gift for my father. QUALITY 10/10 The first time you see this, you can just look at this and tell it is very well made and high-quality. The leather is high-quality with an expert finish and color. The stitching is clean. The dimensions are perfect. The key-clip is high-quality metal and functions smoothly. And tt's overall purpose and function is very well-thought out. COMFORT 10/10 Some of the pictures are a bit deceiving as some make it look larger than what it actually is. It's size is impressive considering how much gear is held within a compact package. It's lightweight, holds very close to your body, so wearing a shirt over it will not produce a large bulge, and because of the nature of it's longer design, it distributes the weight excellently. The difference between wearing this and the original Leatherman pouch is a night and day difference. This feels much lighter, despite holding more than just my Leatherman. I have worn this all day and it is genuinely comfortable to wear. DESIGN: 10/10 Having the ability to carry a multi-tool, flashlight, pen, and your keys all on your belt so effectively without sticking out like a sore-thumb in public is an ingenious design. There's plenty of "tacti-COOL" stuff out there that also can do this, but it's often separated pouches that turns your belt into a glorified duty belt that you have to tuck your shirt in, so you don't have bulges all around your waist, which I personally don't want to be wearing in public. Due to the nature of it's close-body design, you can easily wear an untucked shirt over this and it wouldn't be noticed. Better yet, you still have the option to tuck your shirt it and not stick out like a sore thumb in public due to it being a stylish multi-tool pouch. RETENTION: 10/10 The instructions state that proper break-in of the leather can take a few weeks. Thus, they recommend to keep your gear in the pouch overnight to assist in this break-in. Upon first receiving it, it was definitely an extremely snug fit for all my gear. However, after 24 hrs, there's been some break-in and I can now get my leatherman and light out much easier now, whilst it still having a perfect snug fit. I am now much more confident of this securing my gear than what I was previously using. SIDE NOTE: While the product itself is perfect, my only recommendation for improvement is perhaps a less confusing naming convention and product list on the website. I didn't realize there was a left-handed version. I believe it would be a better site-design if the left-handed would be an option on this pouch when you're choosing the colors and sizes instead of it being it's own separate product. I'd say it's common practice for products to be setup this way across various websites instead of listing left/right handed as two separate products. Although I would much prefer the left-handed one (as you can see in my photos that I'm wearing the right-handed on my left-side), that's my fault, as I should've thoroughly navigated the site before ordering.
Tale of Knives makes a promise...
...and delivers. Stellar quality leather and stitching. Fits the EDC belt perfectly. The Leatherman Surge is a tight fit, but can be released from the holster without to much effort. Still breaking in... The flashlight (Fenix PD 35 III) fits as well. These people know what they're doing and do what they promise. Shipping to EU was no problem.
